Waste Management started collection services on Thursday, February 18, 2021, for all residents that have Thursday service, and Friday residents were serviced on Friday. The normal schedule will resume on Monday, Feb. 22., with anticipated higher volumes on the first three days of the week. The overall goal is to finish each day, but some homes may be carried over and serviced the next morning.
Additionally, The Woodlands Township has arranged the following solution to ensure that trash collection happens in a timely manner after several days of suspended pick-up service due to the ongoing winter storm.

From Monday, February 22, 2021, through Friday, February 26, 2021, each household may set out up to three bags of trash (up to 40 lbs. each) in addition to their trash cart. Pink tags are not required next week for the first three bags of extra trash, however, trash carts must be at the curb with your extra bags.
If you have additional bags of trash beyond the first three, each household may set out up to two additional bags (for a maximum of five bags), but these last two must have extra trash “pink” tags affixed. These tags will be provided free of charge. Residents may pick up tags from The Woodlands Kroger stores from Friday, February 19, 2021, through Sunday, February 21, 2021.
Please note, yard waste pickup will be suspended next week to allow for the additional garbage volume expected.
