On March 25, 2021, at approximately 11:00 a.m., Harris County Pct. 4 Constable’s Office deputies responded to the 4900 block of Fox Mill Lane in reference to a shooting.  The shooting was initially reported to 911 operators as an accidental shooting.  Upon the deputies’ arrival, a female at the location was found with multiple gunshot wounds.  She was transported by Lifeflight to Memorial Hermann hospital where she was pronounced deceased.

Harris County Sheriff’s Office Homicide Investigators were called to the scene to investigate the shooting.  It was determined that the female had been staying temporarily at the location with the homeowners, Philip Beach and his wife.  Beach admitted during an interview with investigators that he shot the female multiple times with a handgun.  The handgun believed to have been used was recovered at the scene.  Investigators believe Beach’s reason for shooting female may be related to mental health issues.  Beach’s wife gave a similar account of the shooting in her statement.

Beach was charged with Murder and placed into the Harris County Jail.
